Account Settings: App Edition

Learn how to update Backup Settings, Notification Settings, and Photo Settings within the Shutterfly app.

Follow the steps below for instructions on how to update Backup Settings, Notification Settings, and Photo Settings in the app. The Account Page can be found by clicking the person icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Helpful Tips
  • To change the email address, please use the mobile web browser or the Shutterfly website, as this option isn't currently available in the mobile app.

Order History
  • View Order History, Tracking, etc.

Address Book
  • Add and edit saved addresses.
  • See Help Center Article Address Book: App for more information.
Photo Settings (iOS Only)
  • Allows Facebook, Amazon Photos, and Google Photo accounts to be connected to the Shutterfly account.
  • Select 'Enable Auto Upload'.
    • Allows all photos on the device to be uploaded to the Shutterfly timeline when the app is open.
  • Enable or disable 'Auto-Enhance Photos'.
    • Enhancing optimizes the quality of every day photos for beautiful, balanced prints. 
    • If photos were professionally taken or edited, turn this feature off to keep the original style and optimize better printing.
Photo Setting (Android Only)
  • Select 'Enable Auto Upload'.
    • Allows all photos on the device to be uploaded to the Shutterfly timeline when the app is open.
    • Select either Smart Upload or All Photos (low & high quality).
      • Smart upload chooses only the highest quality photos while skipping blurry photos.
      • This option selects the best photos for projects. 
  • Enable or disable the option to upload only while on Wifi.
Account Settings (Android Only)
  • Enable or disable 'Auto-Enhance Photos'.
    • Enhancing optimizes the quality of every day photos for beautiful, balanced prints. 
    • If photos were professionally taken or edited, turn this feature off to keep the original style and optimize better printing.
Privacy Settings
  • Delete account.
  • Review the Privacy Notice or Terms of Use.
  • Select cookie preferences.
Backup Settings (iOS Only)
  • Select how to backup photos (manually or automatically).
Notification Settings
  • Control app notifications.
  • Enable or disable 'Get offers and inspiration' (Android Only).
Connected Accounts (Android Only)
  • Allows Facebook, Amazon Photos, and Google Photo accounts to be connected to the Shutterfly account.
Chat Assistance
  • Get support via Chat.
Call Center
  • Click to start a call with Shutterfly Customer Care.
Help Center
  • Go to the Help Center to get Shutterfly contact information or browse the Help Center Articles.
Send Feedback
  • Submit Feedback to Shutterfly based on the customer experience.
